Hudson Valley from New York: Fall Foliage, Art & Farms
The Hudson Valley — stretching 150 miles north of Manhattan along the Hudson River — is New York City's most rewarding day trip: a landscape of forested ridges, 19th-century industrial towns turned art centres, farm-to-table restaurants and estates that defined American architecture and painting. It's most spectacular in autumn (September-November) when the fall foliage turns the valley gold and crimson.
